DOF SUBSEA AND ENPRO SUBSEA AGREE ON PARTNERSHIP
Enpro Subsea based in Aberdeen, Scotland, and DOF Subsea today announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which will leverage each company’s expertise and portfolio of assets to deliver enhanced production solutions throughout the life of field.
Their announcement, at the Subsea Tieback Forum and Exhibition in Galveston, Texas, sees Enpro’s patented flow intervention services (FIS) and Flow Access Modules (FAM) technologies being deployed from international subsea operator DOF Subsea’s fleet of construction and intervention vessels. The agreement will allow both companies to work together to pursue targets in the Atlantic region. Enpro’s subsea hydraulic intervention solutions continually enhance production throughout field life. The FIS systems deliver multiple scale squeeze and fluid intervention processes including acid stimulation, chemical injection, scale removal, pipeline pre-commissioning and flowline clean and tubing washes and are suitable to a range of water depths. Enpro’s FAM system enables a capital efficient flexible field development using standard subsea hardware.
DOF Subsea based in Bergen, Norway, has a world-class fleet of 26 vessels and provides a unique offering of integrated project managed and engineered subsea solutions to the global offshore oil, gas and renewables industries.
Raymond Semple, chief operating officer with DOF Subsea said: “Enhanced recovery is a crucial element of our industry´s continuing efforts to effect sustainable improvements to subsea project economics. “We are excited to be competitively coupling the complementary capabilities of DOF and Enpro to provide an independent and integrated service offering to operators to enhance production from their existing capital infrastructure.”
Enpro Subsea managing director, Ian Donald, said: “The collaboration with DOF Subsea is an exciting step forward for Enpro as this partnership will allow us to offer a full service offering to new and existing customers as we look to target projects in the Atlantic region line with our growth strategy.” (Source and image: DOF Subsea)
