KEPCO RE-STARTS TAKAHAMA REACTOR No 4

Kansai Electric Power (KEPCO) advised that at Takahama Unit No 4, the nuclear reactor started up. The Takahama Nuclear Power Plant is a nuclear power plant located in the town of Takahama, Oi District, Fukui Prefecture. It is owned and operated by the Kansai Electric Power Company. It is on a site with an area of about 1 km2. The 870 MW reactor is expected to start generating power from May 22 and reach full capacity about 3 days later.
