Vienna will become the epicentre of solar innovation as the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC) prepares for its 41st edition in 2024. The prestigious event, which will take place at the Austrian Centre Vienna from 23 to 27 September, promises to be a beacon for transformative ideas and showcase the latest advances in renewable energy.
The EU PVSEC has long been the most important platform for professionals, researchers and industry experts in the photovoltaic sector. The 2024 edition is expected to attract an even larger audience as sustainable energy solutions take centre stage globally. With a thematic focus on pushing the boundaries of solar technology, the event aims to promote collaboration and knowledge transfer between international experts.
The global PV community will gather in Vienna to explore breakthroughs in photovoltaic technology, energy storage and grid integration. The conference programme, which is coordinated by the European Commission Joint Research Centre, offers a wide range of topics, from advances in silicon materials and cells, thin films and new concepts, modules and BoS components as well as PV system engineering, integrated and applied PV to the integration of PV in the energy system.
The exhibition area will be a hub of innovation as companies from around the world showcase their latest products and services. Participants can find out first-hand about the latest solar modules, energy storage solutions, innovative applications and many more photovoltaic technologies.
The 3rd PV Academy, which precedes the main event on 22 September 2024, gives the event added significance. The PV Academy offers participants a valuable opportunity to engage with fundamental insights from various PV fields. This full-day event provides the framework for the intensive discussions and workshops, which can be attended as a warm-up to the EU PVSEC, but also independently of it.
As the world strives for a greener future together, the EU PVSEC 2024 in Vienna is proof of the solar industry's commitment to driving sustainable change. Together with the 3rd PV Academy, this event promises to be a defining moment for the global transition to renewable energy. Join us in September in Vienna and be part of the new era of photovoltaics.
