PETROBRAS ACHIEVED RECORD PRODUCTION OF 2.78 MILLION BARRELS PER DAY

In 2023 the Brazilian giant Petrobras recorded historical milestones.
The company achieved a total production of oil and natural gas of 2.78 million barrels of oil equivalent (boed), which is 3.7% higher than the production recorded in 2022. The commercial production of oil and natural gas was 2.44 million barrels, with oil production at 2.24 million barrels per day.
Record annual production of oil and natural gas in the pre-salt fields, reaching 2.17 million barrels per day, surpassing the previous record of 1.97 million barrels per day in 2022 and accounting for 78% of the total production. The company also achieved a record total production of operated oil and natural gas of 3.87 million barrels, surpassing the previous record of 3.64 million barrels in 2022. In 2023, four new platforms were put into operation, contributing to excellent operating results.
In May, the first unit of the Marlim-Voador revitalization project, FPSO Anna Neri, and the fifth unit of the Buzios region, FPSO Almirante Barroso, were commissioned as FPSO Sepetiba entered service In 2023, P-71 platform in the Itapu area, FPSO Guanabara in the Mero area and FPSO Almirante Barroso in the Buzios area achieved maximum oil production capacity.
