PLAGAZI PARTNERS WITH PETROFAC TO DEVELOP KOPING HYDROGEN PARK
Swedish firm Plagazi has selected Petrofac to develop the Köping hydrogen park in Sweden
The partnership comes after a bidding process to determine the most suitable contractor for the development of the early works and FEED. Petrofac has deployed a team to commence the early works stage, which will be conducted in close collaboration with Plagazi’s engineering team in the Gothenburg office. The early works will be carried out over an eight-week period.
Petrofac is a leading provider of services to the global energy industry. Its expertise lies in designing, building, and operating onshore and offshore energy-producing facilities and it has delivered more than 200 major capital projects during its 40-year history. Petrofac’s Engineering and Consultancy team in Woking, UK, will assist Plagazi in establishing and defining the plant battery limits in addition to refining the plant design before the project will enter the core FEED development phase later this year.
