GULF OF MEXICO: SHELL IDLES THE DRILLSHIP NOBLE DON TAYLOR
Shell has exercised a contractual right to idle the drillship Noble Don Taylor drilling in the Gulf of Mexico for the remainder of its contract, or 183 days ending February 25, 2019. During the idle period, the rig will receive daily revenue of $420,000. The customer can redeploy the rig at any time within the remaining contract period, and the Company is free to secure immediate contract opportunities.

Noble also reported that Noble Tom Madden is mobilizing to drill an exploration well offshore Guyana for ExxonMobil. The jackup Noble Sam Hartley, ready stacked in Malaysia is mobilizing for Total in the UK North Sea. (Source: Noble Corporation)
